Qualifications

  • Customer Service experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • High degree of comfort with human relations
  • Valid CPR certificate – preferred First Aid
  • Some computer experience as it relates to data entry and on-line registration
  • Fitness background or an interest in physical activity


Role/Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of Member Services staff to use their exceptional customer service skills to make each member feel welcome upon entering the club.  Fitness Consultants will:

  • Perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness throughout the gym and change areas
  • Oversee and distribute towel service for members, including the cleaning and storage of towels
  • Book and complete PeT (Personal electronic trainer) orientations
  • Perform PeT training sessions
  • Book and complete equipment orientations
  • Answer questions that relate to equipment operation
  • Interact with membership base
  • Educate members about current club promotions/events
  • Perform lunch and learns
  • Monitor their overall satisfaction with club operations, and avail themselves to all questions that will enhance the member’s club experience
