Group Aerobics

Columbia Lake Health Club offers a variety of group fitness programs. We change our programs and scheduling regularly to meet the needs of our members. Class schedules are available here. Our group aerobics programs include:

Bosu 1 – NEW!
Introduce yourself to the new craze in fitness. Improve your balance, stability and confidence in this introductory class where exercises and drills on the bosu are designed to condition your body and improve overall fitness.

Bosu 2 – NEW!
This High energy, cardiovascular workout focusing on improving coordination, balance, agility and strength all at the same time! Conditioning the entire body and improving your overall fitness level, you experience a fresh and exciting workout geared to jumpstarting your fitness routine.

Boxing 1 – NEW!
Always wanted to learn how to box? Come and learn the basics in our fun and non indimidating circuit style class that combines athletic training with boxing, core conditioning and cardio drills. Skip, jab and upper cut your way to a leaner, stronger you!

Boxing 2 (Formerly Boxing Circuit: Intermediate to Advanced)
This is an extension to our Boxing 1 class for those of you that are ready to take that next “punch”. This is a power packed circuit will leave you gasping for more. Bag work combined with Focus pad work will bring your workout to the next level.

Core Conditioning: Multilevel ** This class is taught by a Personal Trainer**
Discover how core strength can enhance your lifestyle. By developing the muscles around your hips, lower back, torso, abs, and shoulder blades we can help reduce lower back pain, improve posture, and develop a leaner physique. Join a core class today and make your body more functional, more resistant to injury, and more balanced.

Dance Mania 1 – NEW!
From Latin to Jive, Salsa to Celtic, Disco to Jazz, we have the perfect exercise program for you! It is so much fun; you’ll forget it is good for you! No previous dance experience is required, let us teach you the moves and you will giggle and dance your way to a skinner, healthier you!

Step 1 (Formerly Step Basics: Multi-level Intensity – Basic Comprehension)
This athletic effort kicks the choreography to the curb and takes it back to the basics. This stepping session incorporates simple steps and patterns, designed for quick comprehension. Intensity is the variable, utilizing power to generate some pump. User friendly, designed for individual speed, agility and stamina.

Step 2 (Formerly Step Groove: Intermediate to Advanced with Stylized Choreography)
All step classes are not created equal! Join the resident step master in this blend of classic steps mixed with current step trends. Targeted at the member who desires non-stop cardio and a creative culture with lots of instructor flavor and fun.

Strength 1 and 2 (Formerly Body Training on the BALL, Chisel and Reps)
This total body muscular workout has co-ed appeal. Ramp up your core strength, muscular endurance, strength and body confidence in a workout that includes the use of dumbbells, body bars, your own body resistance, bosu’s, stability balls and whatever else we can get our hands on! Strength 1 classes are not as complex as a Strength 2 class but offer the same great results.
