| Fitness PlanningWhat is a fitness plan? A fitness plan is the best way for you to reach your health and lifestyle goals. We incorporate measurements of your current fitness level with an understanding of your lifestyle to help you set objectives that can be easily met over a set period of time. Why do I need or want one? A fitness plan will give you an outline that you can easily follow in order to be able to see progress towards health and lifestyle goals. This makes it much easier for you to enjoy the time you have working out because you don’t have to think about what to do next. You keep track of your progress using the PeT – the personal e-trainer that electronically stores your workout plan, records your activity and allows you to monitor your results. The PeT is a key component of your fitness plan as it will help you keep on track. What happens when I want a fitness plan? You will meet with one of our fitness consultants that will measure your strength, flexibility, oxygen intake, blood pressure, basic measurements and heart rate in order to set the baseline of your plan. We discuss with you any health concerns or issues you may have. We talk about your current lifestyle choices to determine what type of fitness program would fit best into your life right now. Part of the planning requires jogging/walking on a treadmill for 10-15 minutes. We use this data to establish your PeT program and discuss fitness and lifestyle goals. When can I get a fitness plan? As soon as you join as a member we will ask you to book into a fitness planning session. Once you have had a fitness plan developed, we encourage you to update your plan regularly, as often as every 3 months. And if you haven’t been able to book a fitness planning session into your schedule, we will contact you to encourage you to make this a priority so that you can make the most of your time and your membership. Who do I talk to? We have a whole team of people who are available when you are. Contact info@clhc.com to make an appointment.
